The short version.

This site collects only what you choose to send me through the contact form. No cookies, no ad trackers, no mailing list. Below is exactly how it works.

Privacy

What happens to your information

Who I am

This website belongs to Maximized Talent, run by Bret Zuelich in Chehalis, Washington. Questions about your information go to me: bret@maximizedtalent.com or (360) 726-2692.

What I collect

Only what you send. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, the kind of help you need, a message and, if you like, your current website. If you email or call instead, I get what you include in that email or call. There are no accounts on this site.

How the contact form works

When you press send, the form goes through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which checks it for spam and emails it to my business inbox (Google Workspace). Web3Forms keeps a copy of submissions for up to three years under its own privacy policy.

Visit statistics and hosting

The site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. According to Cloudflare, it doesn’t use cookies or other browser storage, doesn’t fingerprint your device and isn’t used to build advertising profiles. The site’s files are hosted by Hostinger, whose servers keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested) for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies. It keeps two small notes in your own browser, which are never sent to me: whether you paused the animation (so it stays paused), and which service you clicked (so the contact form can pre-select it; this one clears when you close the tab).

What I do with it

I use your message to reply to you, and if we work together, to plan and deliver your project. I don’t sell or rent your information, I don’t share it for advertising, and I won’t add you to a mailing list.

How long I keep it

I keep project emails for as long as the project and normal business records need them. Ask me any time and I’ll send you a copy, correct it or delete it.

Changes

If the way this site handles information changes (for example, if I add online booking), I’ll update this page and the date at the top.

Accessibility

Built so everyone can use it

My goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at Level AA.

What I check

  • Every page is tested with two automated checkers (axe-core and HTML_CodeSniffer) and with Lighthouse, on phone and desktop sizes.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline, and there is a “Skip to content” link.
  • Text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout reflows on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
  • The site respects your “reduce motion” setting, and you can pause the animation at any time.
  • All the content, the navigation and the contact form work without the 3D animation and without JavaScript.

Known limitations

Max and the crew are a decorative 3D animation and are hidden from screen readers; everything they say and do is also in the page text. Testing with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA) is ongoing.

Tell me if something doesn’t work

If anything on this site is hard to use, email bret@maximizedtalent.com or call (360) 726-2692. I’ll reply personally and fix what I can.
